1. Pictured rocks

This destination offers so many activities to do from hiking, camping, walking lake shores, kayaking, and beautiful Fall colors. Anytime of the year and season this place is great to visit. 

2. Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park

Many people are unaware Michigan has mountains, but they do, and they are located right at this state park. Located along the Lake Superior shoreline. Fall activities include hiking trails, with beautiful Fall colors, and countless lake activities. 

3. M-22 and the Leelanau Peninsula 

M-22 traces along the edges of the Leelanau Peninsula, so even if you are just passing through, you will still get a view of Lake Michigan, and the Fall scenery.  This route beings near Manistee Michigan. This is a great view if you are just passing through, and not looking for an outdoors experience.
